Tommy's Holiday Fund - THF

This sweet 12 year old puppy is Brandi. A few days ago Brandi started coughing and showing signs that she had difficulty breathing. We had to move as fast as we could to get her in with one of partner clinics.

Thanks to our friends at St. Nick's Closet who donated funds in credit to THF we were able to get Brandi seen quickly. Dr. Chris and the team at The Animal Medical Clinic examined her and took images of her chest. They determined that she had fluid build up and have now put her on medication which she will have to take to prevent fluid build up. While this unfortunately medicine she will have to take the rest of her life, it was caught early enough and is treatable, so Brandi gets to go home and be with her family where she belongs.

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday. Facebook is once again matching donations. Matches are made on a first-come, first-served basis and will continue until the $7M USD fund has been met. The first $2M are 100% and the remaining $5M are 10%.

Morty is home!!🙌💙❤️💙

He’s been through a lot! Not only did Morty have to get treatment for his severe bladder infection, but he was unable to urinate on his own after the treatments. This meant he had to have a perineal urethrostomy, they had to make his urethra bigger.

We were fortunate enough to get him over to our friends at Powder Springs Animal Clinic to do this surgery quickly and help keep the costs down.

Morty’s dad has amazing friends that came out and helped pay for emergency treatment of the infection, and you all along with our friends at Pet Buddies Food Pantry who sponsored Morty helped cover the emergency surgery 🙌❤️❤️.

As always, we will never be able to say thank you enough. We cannot do this without your donations and support.

We love all of you and are forever grateful.

We hope you never need us, but we will be here if you do.

Update: Our friends over Pet Buddies Food Pantry are sponsoring $300 🙌❤️ to help Morty and his dad, you all have jumped in so fast and along with what little we had, we’re up to $800 from the THF side!!!❤️💙❤️ We cannot say thank you enough!

Morty’s dad has been fundraising as well through friends, family, and Instagram and with what we have so far combined, we’re only $200 short of covering Morty’s procedures. Everyone that has donated, shared, and just voiced your concern, you’re amazing and we love you 😻😻😻

This is Morty and he needs your help urgently. Morty’s dad noticed he was becoming very lethargic and acting differently, so he took him to the vet. They diagnosed Morty with a severe bladder infection and treatment is $3500 assuming no major issues.

Like so many right now, Morty’s dad is struggling due to COVID and he cannot afford, does not qualify for Care Credit, and cannot qualify for another credit card. He has already fund raised $1000 of the needed funds from friends and family, so we’re on the way. But we need to get the rest of the funds urgently to get Morty the treatment before it gets any worse and becomes threatening.
